intentional creativity®
What is Intentional Creativity®?
Intentional Creativity® is a way of bringing forward what has been hidden inside oneself. It is a way to access your innate being and information that you may not normally have access to as well as a way to record what you see through creative exploration.
Though no artistic experience is required, this practice will help you discover your natural creativity, using the simple tools of pencil and paper.
Intentional Creativity® is not a new concept. In fact, our ancestors used it. Think of cave drawings, among many other ways of recording stories and histories through art.
Intentional Creativity® is a way to be with what you are creating in a more intimate way, putting your essence, care and love into it. It is a method of seeking answers to your biggest curiosities, and then watching them arise in what is being created.
What’s in a session?
This practice can be approached one-on-one through a series of paintings, or as a group workshop. In either approach, you will intuitively explore concepts and stories shared with you and will be supported to translate this experience to the canvas through shapes, words, and colours.
How does it work?
By linking cognitive reflection and with physical movement, you are given a powerful way to repattern your body’s connection with emotions and blocks that perhaps previously held you back. This is an opportunity to rewire your brain and to change your relationship with these emotions, moving closer to a place of freedom, with each brush stroke across the canvas.
At times, Tina may combine Intentional Creativity® with Therapeutic Counseling sessions (which can be booked here), or you may wish to explore Intentional Creativity® on its own through a 1:1 session or group workshop.
What’s the investment?
Sessions are in person or virtual, starting at $160 for 1-1.5 hours.
